A little history:
Hanukkah commemorates the reconquest of the temple of Jerusalem and its purification, of which the lit candelabra is the strongest symbol.
A miracle is associated with the purification of the temple by the Jewish soldiers: when they wanted to light the lamp with seven branches, they found only one vial sufficient for one day. However, the supply of oil miraculously fed the lamp for eight days...
Chanouka has a very strong symbolic meaning for the Jews because it is about celebrating the victory of light over darkness.
