A little history :
Yisrael Abuhatzeira , better known as Baba Sali , was an important religious figure in Judaism. A renowned Sephardic kabbalist, he had the ability to perform miracles through his prayers.
He died on Shevat 4, 5744 (1984). Thousands of people from all over the world attended his funeral and was buried in Netivot.
Nowadays, many people go to his tomb to pilgrimage there. His faith in the imminent coming of the Moshiach and his eagerness to wait for him were famous. To all those who besieged his dwelling to receive his blessings, he communicated this faith and this flame.
May his memory be a blessing for all the Jewish people!
