After washing your hands, say:

Blessing on Shabbat bread (Hallot):
Baroukh ata Ado-nay elo-henu melèkh haôlam hammossi le-hem mine haaress.

Kiddush Translation:

A cup of wine or grape juice filled to the brim is held by the master of ceremonies. The Assembly rises:

It was evening and then morning, sixth day:
Heaven and earth, and everything in them, was finished. On the seventh day, G‑d closed the work He had done. He ceased on the seventh day from all the work He had done. And Gd blessed the seventh day and declared it holy, because on that day He ceased all the work He had created and all the work to be done (Genesis 2:1-3).

With your permission (Masters, ladies and gentlemen):
The Assembly: To life!

You are the source of blessing, Lord our G‑d, Ruler of the world, You who create the fruit of the vine.

You are the source of blessing, L-rd our G‑d, Ruler of the world, who has sanctified us by Your commandments, and has desired us. His holy Shabbat, He bequeathed it to us with love: commemoration of the creative act, first of the Solemnities, memory of the exodus from Egypt. For it is we whom You have distinguished and sanctified among all peoples and it is to us whom You have bequeathed, out of love, Your holy Shabbat. You are the source of blessing, You who sanctify the Shabbat.

We drink the glass of wine and each guest takes a sip in turn.
